Will the new HTC Desire emerge as the second smartphone on Verizon Wireless running Google's Android operating system? (the first anticipated smartphone is the Motorola Sholes or Tao)If you've had a chance to play around with the Android OS, you'll find that it's clean and simple. In some ways, it reminds me of Palm's webOS. The main problem with Android right now is the paucity of medical applications for this OS. Hopefully that will change over the next few months as more companies develop medical apps for Android (and also for webOS).
