The newest Android smartphone on Verizon is the Motorola Devour. It is not the Droid Devour. It is simply the Devour. This device resembles the Droid, but it's silver, it has a smaller screen, and it's less powerful. It's also less expensive, but I would highly recommend the Droid over the Devour.The Devour should be considered an "entry-level" Android smartphone for people who are on a tight budget. I realize that medical students are residents are often on tight budgets, so if you don't think you'll be a "power user," then the Devour will do just fine. The Devour also features MOTOBLUR which is a nice feature if you're a social media junkie.
My local Best Buy seems to have better prices for new Verizon customers, so if you're shopping for a new smartphone, you may want to compare prices.
I disagree. Although the Android is more expensive and probably has some more features, the Devour ends up being more user friendly and has features that you are used to like wallpaper select downloaded ringtones. The Droid might have this stuff, I don't know but if you compare droid to devour on verizon then you will see what I am talking about
