This Friday, I'll be speaking at the Health Journalism 2011 conference about mobile health and I'll be sharing my thoughts about some of the potential dangers and risks of using mobile health apps. Of course, I'll also mention many of the positives, especially as we look into the future.
Given that the current state of mobile apps remains largely unregulated, it should be an interesting discussion. Regulation is coming soon from the FDA since these mobile health devices + apps are often used to "diagnose and treat" medical conditions.
