Wow, today was quite a day in the tech world. Google announced that they were going to acquire Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion.
I've used Android smartphones made by Motorola, HTC, Samsung, LG, and others. It seems like even though Android will remain open, this may be the opportunity Google needs to create some customized devices that will have a different level of security compared to other Android devices. Maybe this will allow Android to play at a different level when it comes to enterprise-level solutions for hospitals and health care organizations that require a robust security options that are embedded within the device.
Speaking of Motorola - I had a StarTAC. Did you?
